Please forgive me if this has been discussed before, I couldn't find anything. If so, any relevant link would be valuable.
Is it possible to use VirtualDub to merge multiple AVIs? Copy-Paste does not seem to work for me.

Hi!
What software/procedures/codecs/settings did you use to create each of these .AVIs?

They all have been captured as 768x576 PAL, using PICVideo MJPEG codec, and with no audio compression.

Avis can be merged (in VirtualDub) only if all avi's are processed the same way: same parameters with same codec.
For example: I used Dr.DivX v1.06 (which is using DivX6.1 codec) and encoded part of video. Another part of video was encoded in VirtualDub, where the same Codec was used (and the same settings of course), but VirtualDub refused to join these two avi's. The reason was, because DrDivX uses different metadata as VirtualDub does (FourCC was the same).
Just for your information.
