what should i use when encodimg in megui?

i'm going to encode some movies to xvid, what encoder should i use ,mencoder or xvid_encraw?
and why?what is the diffrence between mencoder and xvid_encraw?

videoqualitywise it shouldnt matter as both use the same xvid library
if you use squid's patched encraw you can have .mkv output, which i would prefer over avi (mencoder can only output)

I found that mencoder works, but xvid_encraw crashes on the first pass every time. I'm guessing xvid_encraw is kinda like besweet. It's there, but doesn't work yet.

What!!! both xvid_encraw and beswet works perfectly with megui, of course last build
