Problem splitting episodic DVD with VobBlanker

I have encountered a slight problem when trying to split an episodic disc to 2 DVD-Rs using VobBlanker 2.1.0.0. I followed my own guide (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=107095) as far as possible but there is a slight twist. Instead of there being a separate VTS for each episode, all episodes are in one VTS, a separate VOB file for each episode (VTS_01_1.VOB, VTS_01_2.VOB, . . ., VTS_01_7.VOB). So this prevents me from skipping just the episodes I want to keep in the destination folder. So I simply skipped the entire VTS (VTS_01_*.VOB). The 4 skipped episodes play fine in my software player but when I try to jump to the 5th one, which is non-existent, it crashes. PgcEdit shows that the non-existent episodes are still there so that's the problem -- trying to jump to a cell that's not really there. What is the simplest way to eliminate this problem?

Do not remove directly the files, this produces a non-playable DVD...

I see two ways to do it safely:

a) Use VobBlanker and blankout the unwanted chapters. IF the postcommands are not safely changed to precommands, remove the cells in pgcEdit (IIRC, you cannot remove all of them, one cell should be kept)

b) Use Kill Playback function of PGCedit, and remove all the cells of the PGC (also with pgcedit.). Run Vobblanker, with both options related with postcommands unchecked and blankout the remaining cell of each unwanted chapter

And, final adjustments, removing unwanted buttons of menus with pgcEdit and may be replacing background with VobBlanker.

I was able to simply remove the unwanted cells and chapters with PgcEdit for the first disc and it worked fine although there were still references to the non-existent so it is not clean. This did not work at all for the second disc since all VOB pointers were the original ones and did not correspond to the actual ones.

I guess I'll just have to do it the brute force way for now. In any case thanks for your help.
