Hi
I want to construct a DVD by taking portions from 2 DVD's. (extras and navigation links included).
Is there a simple of use tool to do so ? What are my options ?
Note: The portions I want to take should not require splitting.
Thank you.

Hi!
You can use DVD Shrink in "Re-author" mode to accomplish this...

DVD Shrink, as far as I understand, makes the navigation links
unusable in re-authoring mode.

Only the active menus are lost in "Re-author" mode - You can still use your remote to access chapters, subtitles, audiostreams, Titles...

I meant active menus by navigation links.
I tried accomplishing this with DVD Shrink but DVD Shrink would stream the extras and everything else in the DVD except the title page.
Unless i've done something wrong which I doubt due to the small number of choices, DVD Shrink is not an viable option.
I curently working on understanding how Dvdlab pro functions.
It seems to me that DVDlab pro is the tool i need for the work.
Only if i can make sense of it all.

i can think of two ways you can achieve your goal (i am sure there are others)
1. DVDRemake Pro (payware) - incredibly powerful and easy to use
2. PGCEdit and Vobblanker (freeware) - also very powerful but requires knowledge of dvd structure etc to create a compliant end product.
although using dvdlab (and other authoring programs) is an option, to be honest, i think you will find this approach is far more time consuming and complicated than either of the options outlined above.
good luck
