IFO edit are new versions coming out??

Reason I ask is there are new types of sound tracks out there..ie dolby digital ex, etc. and when i merge titles with ifo edit it changes the audio type from dolby digital ex to just dolby 5.1 (i know it doesn't mess with the acutal audio though). The only issue is when I play back the merged title it says dolby 5.1 on my dvd player (even though the signal is digital ex 7 channel).

I did that but, It still says dolby 5.1 how do you change that to say dolby ex (like in the original) instead..is there something i can edit to change it back to say dolby ex? (after further review I do not see dolby digital ex anymore on my info display for Power DVD for my original rip..very strange)

Also another question can I set multichannel extension present to utilize my 2 rear center speakers (have 7.1 surround speakers) even with a regular 5.1 channel signal..ie atleast i'll get sound from them!
