hello i have a problem. how can i extract audio stream from a divx file convert it to mono from stereo and put it back together?

thanks. the divx file has audio problem. its a stereo mp3 stream but after a while only the left channel can be heard. so i wanted to convert it to mono so both channels can be heard

1) You should be able to use the very same software and procedures you used when you originally created your DivX-compressed .AVI file

2) How did you corrupt the audiostream?

no i downloaded the video file. i didnt make it this way. but i want to correct it. can you help? how can i extract the audio stream real time processing mp3 mono stream and the combine video and audio so that the video has mono sound? thanks
