burner worked fine untell to day ,when i put in a disc i got no dvd drive found i,when't to divise manager clicked hard ware ,bouth dvd drives had yellow flags . i have aliton1635s-and a- optowrte- ddo401, when i click on them i get this error . Sounds like you've screwed something up - did you just remove the firmware update? And if so, why, especially if it was working? i downloaded new fw, don't know if thats the prob. or not ,would like some way to fix it.

i downloaded new fw, don't know if thats the prob. or not ,would like some way to fix it.
Please list in order exactly what you have done, starting with what you last did before your final successful burns. In the meantime post screenshots of your Device Manager window and the yellow flagged devices.

when't back 3 days on system restore ,every thing back to normal. Thanks for the help,

Then it obviously had nothing to do with any firmware update, as System Restore wouldn't have affected that.
