clean operating system

I'm just getting started into ripping and on the ripping guide for newbie's it recommend to get a os with no updates. So where do I get this o-s as all I have seen for sale have the updates installed. thanks splice

hi 2boot and welcome to the forum!

to be honest, i would think that important factor would be that you started with a clean install rather than an install with no updates .... even then it would depend on what state your current computer is in. if you have kept a fairly clean system and have no problems with conflicting programs/hardware or issues from virus's etc then i you should be okay to start loading the programs you need to set you on your way to achieving yor goals.
