AVISynth Cannot Installl Nooooo!

I recently uninstalled AviSynth. Now I can't reinstall it. It says that it cannot copy avisynth.dll to the system directory. What should I do to fix this? Is it possible that someone sends me their avisynth.dll file and I manually copy it...?

Is there a copy of avisynth.dll already on your system? If so, try deleting it then re-installing.

nope theres no avisynth.dll

When I did something wrong (i asked what is the best codec for...) all the doom9 moderators were really quick to post and admonish me, but now when I have a problem no one responds except for Tripx.

Hmmm.....two days ago when i used HC encoder it said avisynth.dll not loaded

and today it works, as if avisynth was installed

could it be because i ran nic's wm encoder right before using it?

Yes, i'm the administrator. Im the only account.

make sure the system folder is not read only. I know this sounds unlikely but I really can't think of anything else.

How come it installed the first time and then the second time it failed? The system folder IS read only (but it doesnt matter now, considering that I got it to work despite the failed installation :P)
