HDTV on DVD already possible? PLEASE READ...

Hi all,

I want to create a Sample-DVD with some HDTV 720p Movie-Trailers in order to test and experience HDTV-Features.

Is it already possible authoring DVDs with menues with HDTV 720p Trailers (i.e. with DVD-Lab 1.5) ??

If yes, can I directly use .vob-Trailers or do I have to convert or transcode them first for compatibility?

DVDLab is called DVDLab, not HD-DVDLab. ;)

Agreed...

Plus you would not be able to play (1280 x) 720p content on an ordinary DVD player anyway..... Because the chip-sets in such players only support encodes with resolutions not exceeding 414,720 pixels!
