In the documentation it says you cannot move the source files after a project has been created unless you update the d2v file manually or recreate it with dgindex.

Is there a way to ask dgindex to create a d2v file with reletive paths rather than full paths.

Since I allready suspect the answer is no, prehaps my question hould be, "Could reletive paths be an option in a future release? (naturally if there is enough intrest to justify the feature)

hi,

just a silly question :)
i suppose that if you try to open the .d2v file (generated with relative path) using a UNC path (ex : "\\mycomputer\share\test.d2v") it will work like a charm ?

Keep up the good work.

Bye.

I use the unc path alot and it works fine, although I wouldn't call it a reletive path

Was already asked for more than half a year ago (http://www.neuron2.net/board/viewtopic.php?p=6347#6347). ;)

(Which resulted in dropping the char count verifier, making the needed manual editing of the d2v's double as fast than before :) )
