Is this normal? Deleting instead of blanking...

I was just backing up The Interpreter (Region 4) and once I blanked out the language selection menu with PcgEdit (described here (http://www.videohelp.com/~r0lZ/pgcedit/third_party/2cool/remove_language_aspect_ratio_menus/remove_language_and_aspect_ratio_menus_3.htm)), it shows up as Unreferenced Material in DVD Shrink. Normally I just have to blank out the menu in order to get rid of the Unreferenced Material. However, this time the original language selection menu wasn't even present when looking through VobBlanker. I had to compare the processed VOB with the original one, write down the PGC # then proceed to delete it in the processed VOB. This fixed the "problem." I just want to know whether this is normal or not. The DVD works fine as usual...

Ashed, I don't know why vobblanker didn't show in vobblanker, but I have 2 comments:
- Bypassing a menu with PgcEdit is now much easier than what you've been doing. All you have to do is click Kill PGC on the menu, then select which button to push by default and you're done.
- Also, the fact that the menu is now under unreferenced material shouldn't be a problem. It's unreferenced because you probably said OK when PgcEdit asked if it should remove the reference from the PGC. In any case, you can always compress the heck of all the unreferenced material (still picture) in Shrink. This saves you the vobblanker step (unless you remove other stuff with vobblanker of course).

VobBlanker doesn't show unreferenced material.
VobBlanker gives access in preview pane to a PGC or to a Cell included in a PGC.
Your language selection was still inside the VOB, after pgcEdit bypass, but normally a language selecttion is one or two MB, so you can keep it in.
