Flickering capture

I captured this with a Hauppauge PVR 250: http://host-a.net/getfile.php?usern=freebird&file=sample.mpg
In the beginning I notice it is kind of jerky as it pans and the second scene I notice the flickering. It has only happened on this one capture (my first animation capture). Can anyone explain what is going on and how I can capture animation properly in the future?

That is normal. It will play fine in a de-interlaced player like WinTV or Power DVD. Try it in VLC and you can see the various de-interlacing filters in action.
