Is there such a thing as burning or making a Region 0 or Region free DVD? I've seen softwares like DVD X Ghost, that promises to make region free DVD's, but are there alternatives out there? I'm basically asking for a solution that is free. :thanks:

So basically the hardware does not determine the region code when I burn, it's all software. Right? Basically the hardware region settings are for decoding the DVD, not encoding. Is that correct?
