View Full Version : Re-authoring a DVD by re-encoding the audio stream

Hello,

A few weeks ago, I authored a DVD with DVD-Lab. Unfortunately, the audio encoder I used (ac3enc.dll included in BeSweet 1.5b30 supplied by Gordian Knot rippack 0.35.0 pack2) had a old bug preventing some DVD player to decode the audio stream.

I fixed the audio encoder, but how can I fix the DVD? I can always rebuild the DVD from scratch, but I'm looking for a quicker or smarter way. Is it possible to extract the audio stream, re-encode it and re-author the DVD without having to rebuild or re-author the DVD structure?

Thanks
