error when loading file

i've got an mkv file but it gives an error when i load it, namely:

matroska stream one doesn't have a sample rate

a second file of the same series gives this error: birtual block not handled


mkvmerge says: unknown error; identify verbose

i think i've got the right codecs. what could be wrong?

i want to demux the sub stream, that is all.
anyone knows how i can get this done?

Sounds like a corrupt file.i want to demux the sub stream, that is all.You probably want to go back to your original source material and simply extract the sub stream from it...

As kawasakininja pointed out in his original thread on this subject (which makes this one a cross-post) he doesn't have the "original source material."
