backed up a dvd and must have deselected the audio track by mistake on rebuild or something. The compiled dvd is now 250mb shorter than expected due to no audio. Can i do a 100% backup, save the m2v files to another folder then do the same with the original and copy my encoded files over them to save having to encode the whole thing again?

i wonder (just really really guessing here)
do a no compression prepare and encode on the rebuilt disk (with audio sleected), then change the source folder back to original and do a rebuild...
i wonder if that would work

I've done that many times.
1. Do a prepare in one folder against the newly created disc and "No compression" mode.
2. Do a prepare in another folder using the original disc.
3. Copy the M2V files from folder 1 into folder 2.
4. Edit Rebuilder.INF in Folder 2 and add "Progress=2" to the [Status] area.
5. Restart DVD-RB (in 3 click mode) and do a REBUILD...

thanx, although "progress=2" didnt work, it just gave a "nothing to do" pop up. Worked perfectly when left as "progress=1"

Progress=1 means the PREPARE phase has been completed, but not ENCODE.
Progress=2 means the ENCODE phase has been completed, but not REBUILD.
Progress=3 means the REBUILD phase has been completed.
Encode_Progress=n indicates how many segments have been completed (for resume).
"nothing to do" indicates there were no .M2V files in the working directory. If it worked, that means you were still pointed to the "No recompression" working directory -- but the source was changed to the original... there's more than one way to skin a cat, I guess.
