Hi friends,
I have 4 vob files originated from mpg created by TMPG. I want to create chapters and burn on DVD.
I demux the m2v and mpga files using Vobedit.
I did dvdauthoring by Ifoedit and tried to create chapters by using CellTime.txt

After that also it will continue but with picture NO AUDIO.
Any help please.
Is there any tool / procedure I can create chapters for those vobfiles?
Eagerly waiting for help
Thanks in advance.

Hi!Is there any tool / procedure I can create chapters for those vobfiles?
You can use "TMPGEnc DVD Author" to easily create chapters (and a menu, if you like). You can obtain a FULLY functional free 30 day trial version of this commercial program at:

*The video framerate xxxx fps cannot be used for a standard DVD.
You can only use the following framerate for a standard DVD:
29.97 fps (NTSC format only)
25 fps (PAL format only)
That error is coming when I tried with TMPG DVDauthor program. Even ignore button also greyed. I tried to create DVD from mpg thru TMPG but that editor hangs after sometime.
Any ideas please?
Thanks,

Hi Setarip_old,
Really I appreciate your effort to help me.
The value is 23.976fps. TMPG dvdauthor version is 1.6
Those mpg files are created from DVD using TMPGEnc longback say 2 years back. At that time I created 2 VCDs. Now I thought of reconvert those 2 VCDs to DVD again. But when I try other tools to convert to DVD no use ( All they are hanging or no audio after some time). I used Cucusoft to convert DVD, it successfully created DVD, but only one chapter. When I burn to DVD its not playing on dvd player(Panasonic 5 disc player). But when I try with windvd on computer its playing from hard disk its playing great. So I thought of making more chapters to those 4 vob files. I tried with Vobedit to demux and dvd author with Ifoedit etc., all are failed. My main intension is to make playable those files on DVD by creating some more chapters instead of one chapter. When I tried with IFOedit dvdauthor it gave that error ..." Internal error: additional data required but no free space in input buffer"
When I tried with TMPG DVD Author it gave
*The video framerate xxxx fps cannot be used for a standard DVD.
You can only use the following framerate for a standard DVD:
29.97 fps (NTSC format only)
25 fps (PAL format only)
This is the total thing. Any help is highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

A VCD is MPEG-1 encoded, audio has 44.1 kHz instead of 48 kHz.
DVD has MPEG-2 but ist MPEG-1 compliant.
Forget Cucusoft.
Look at http://www.digitalfaq.com/dvdguides/convert/vcdtodvd/vcdtodvd.htm
for proper conversion.
