mp4 (h264) to dvd ?

is there a way to encode mp4 (h264) to mpeg2, so i can burn a dvd and watch it on my dvd player.
I'm used to doing it with avi files but I don't know how to do it with mp4 files.

and if there's no way to do it, does anyone knows when a program or something to do this will come out?

You should use directshowsource in avisynth as a start, after that things will become clear if you are used to reencoding avi. A program that claims to be able to that easily is Super: http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html.
Never tried it though, feel free to try it yourself.
