Hey
I backup a lot of my DVDs using Gordian Knot and often find myself running out of project slots, which means having to reset previous ones.
I decided to use Webroot Windows Washer to automatically delete the subkeys for each GK project slot when I shutdown.
These keys are located in
HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21......\Software\GordianKnot\SlotXX
When I restart GordianKnot after wiping all these keys I am able to use new Project Slots as normal, and they reappear in the registry as normal.
Basically what I'm wanting to know :
Is this an ok safe method? I'm not screwing anything up by doing this? Everything seems to be functioning correctly but I want to be sure!!
Thanks heaps
