DVD Shrink

I have been successfully using DVDShrink and Decryptor for a while now, never really running into issues...until now. I am trying to back-up a cartoon dvd which I need to shrink. Once analyzed Shrink can not move the size down to fit onto 1 DVD. I try to move down the custom ratio, but it defaults to 62% and will not ley me go lower (I need about 50%). I have removed extra junk, but that was not very many mb so had little effects.

So I used AmazonShrink and it worked fine, but I was curious why Shrink is not working for me now, after all these years.

If the first run isn't small enough, shrink it again.
