Editing mpeg files?

Basically I'm looking for a way to cut the commercials out of my mpeg capures in one simple program. The way I do it now is to long and invovles more then one program.

Right now I have to open the mpeg files in TMPGEnc DVD Author where I can cut out the commercials, but it will split the file in two if its larger then 1GB and saves it as a vob in a format ready to burn on dvd.

Then I have to open those files in TMPGEnc to combine and merge them them a single mpeg files.

I'd like to be able to do all this in a single program where it does not re-encode my video and lose quality.

I've tried ProjectX, but I didn't notice a way to save my files as mpeg, and the cut points it makes are way off compared to TMPGEnc DVD Author.

Those are labled Tsunami, but they are by TMPG also?

Tsunami is their retail package side, Pegasus is their general product side. Same company, practically the same sites.
