Hello,

I have two recorded DVDs (one with 5 chapters and one with only 1 chapter) which are not totally full. I checked the size and both will fit on one DVD-R. So i would like to combine them. How do I have to do that ?
I think of: Having a little menu which let me choose the recordings in first place and afterwards it will show me the "real" menu of the title, so I would not have to rebuild all new menu.

Any suggestions ?

I use DVD Remake for projects just like that. It's a commercial software (meaning, not free), but produces beautiful results.

Or if you are not concerned about menus - shrink works great

I worked with an earlier version of DVD Rebuilder already, but I can't figure out how to combine ? Could you give a hint please ?

@Machser

The option to merge was added in version 3.0, if memory serves... all that's needed is to go to Tools/Merge DVDs. There will be a pop-up interface that will ask for the locations of all the disks you're considering merging. What you'll wind up with is a standard DVD Remake menu when your disk loads, which reads something like "Disk One" on one button, "Disk Two" on another, and so on... depending on how many disks you merge (up to four). Select "Disk One," and it'll start playing disk one just the same as the disk woud usually play; menus and all. (I've even created my own introductory menu within Microsoft Picture It, added buttons to that, and imported it. That's why I recommend Remake -- it's fully customizable.)
