Hello,
I am trying to demux VBR MP3 Audio from AVI file with VirtualDubMod.
Im doing it like this :
opening the AVI file (XVID) with VirtualDubMod and then
Streams -> Stream list -> Demux
When Im doing this the output file cant be played in any player and it seems to be corrupt.
So I tried to do it like this :
Streams -> Stream list -> Save Wav
When I did this the file is playable but the length of the output file is smaller from the original file.

The audio tag is : 0x0055,ACM Decodable MPEG-1 Layer 3 (MP3)

Its the first time its happening to me, Im working with VirtualDubMod and its never happend to me before.

Someone can please tell me how to solve this problem ? Thanx.

It is an mp3 in a wav container.... ACM

leave the extracted mp3 as .wav

Use RIFFStrip to remove the wave header and get back a normal mp3
