General Question

I have been trying to burn a movie on my hardrive to DVD, but the file is to big once I try to burn it, even though it is only 700 mB. My question is why is it doing this, and how can I convert it so it will fit on a DVD5? I tried VirtualDubMod to see if I could convert it to VOB's but no luck

I as so new to this it isnt even funny

What is the format of your 700Mb file? What software and procedures did you use to create it?
