Axis Media Control and DirectShow Interface

I am using the Axis Media Control ocx to monitor an IP camera in a VB6 application. The video feed is motion JPEG. I receive an event when the image changes and the new image is stored in an array within my app. I would like to get this data into DirectShow, for further processing, without the overhead of creating a file. To date I have been unsuccessfull. Axis offers no support. Does anybody have any suggestions.
