fifa street 2 on xbox uses vp6??!!

I was copying fifa street 2 to the xbox harddrive when I noticed in videos there were .vp6 videos!!!. I usually uses .bink for the most part, I never seen a game with .vp6 video streams and more importantly this is a fairly new codec how does it decode it?
