Nero HE-AAC Audio Playback Via SPDIF

Hi,

How do I output 5.1 HE-AAC via SPDIF to my external amp, I have set the audio to SPDIF but here nothing, probably because my AMP does not support HE-AAC, so how can I listen to the audio, is there a way to convert HE-AAC to AC3 on-th-fly?

ffdshow can do AAC decoding and AC3 on-the-fly encoding for spdif output.
