I've lost the interlaced part somewhere

Hi guys

I'm trying to follow the encoding guides/procedures/etc here to convert a video (DV) to mpeg2 at good quality (10000kbps) and I've lost the interlaced video. The original DV file is interlaced, but the file rendered by CCE (2.70.02) doesn't seem to be interlaced anymore.
Before you ask, Deinterlacing is disabled and I've tried with "Output top field first stream" On and Off and no change...

Any clues?

What are you using to view the file?
Many mpeg-2 filters and decoders will deinterlace the video on playback. So it may be the file is interlaced, but when its being decoded you are seeing it deinterlaced.

If you didn't do it yet, framestep through the mpeg-2 file using DGIndex or VirtualDubMod to see if it is interlaced.

You are completely right! vdub-mpeg shows the correct interlaced mpeg.
