Did you know that a few years ago, Dan Aykroyd (Ray Stanz) wrote a draft for Ghostbusters 3? Did you also know that Harold Ramis (Egon Spengler) worked with him to refine this draft, but Sony, who now own the rights to Ghostbusters, don't see it as a profitable production, even though the fan base for the franchise is as strong now as it ever was?

I can't say I really blame Sony for saying no. Any of you seen Blues Bros. 2000?:D

All joking aside, I believe GB 3 would work since all of the actors involved from the last one will be involved now.

It's odd that sony wouldn't greenlight this movie. I mean, its a sequal after all. Isn't that the hot thing right now, sequals?

I was just watching the first ghostbusters the other day and was wondering why they never made a 3rd. The two films were awesome. I think possibly rather than do a 3rd movie they could do a live action TV series with todays technology. That would be awesome. But I would gladly settle for a 3rd movie.

It'll get greenlighted. So many awful movies get greenlit, odds are atleast a few good ones will. I mean hell, if Uwe Boll can find work, I'm sure the GhostBusters will be back in action sometime :)

The first movie is one of my eternal favourites. Apart from that, I'm a real fan of the Real Ghostbusters (the animated series)! ;)

A TV-series or new movies with new actors, that would be fantastic.

uh, sorry about that.

seriously, i'd love to see a movie done with puppets, models and all those optical tricks they used to do. CG in movies has become so generic and mass produced that it's starting to look terrible. it's just not convincing anymore, and it's not as fun as a puppet or a guy in a funny suit (godzilla final wars still has the same guy in a suit style toho has always used, and it makes it so much more fun than the hollywood one).

a TV series wouldn't be bad. but ray and egon must be in it. a 3rd movie would be cool too - they're all really old now :)
