If I may add to Pendra's question: the XviD build of AutoGK incorporates some custom profiles such as "MTK NTSC". Am I correct in assuming that these custom profiles are incorporated at compilation time?
So is the only way to get custom profile features and new SMP version into AGK is for someone to compile it and len0x to release it as a new version?

The profiles were added by me.
If I were to compile a new VfW frontend with the profiles and SMP support, then I guess it should just work using whatever the current thead setting is.
Guess whatever, I should still update the MTKVfW build.

"The Man" himself! Thanks for checking-in!
Funny though, for as long as I've used AGK in the past, I'm not entirely clear as I write this whether this solves Pendra's question, i.e. if AGK will work with what XviD version is actually installed to Windows.
In any case I would welcome a new build w/your special profiles, as I do use it w/other encoding tools (Fairuse Wizard, StaxRip etc.)...
:thanks:

Build went up just after I posted. Just grab the latest cvs head build and replace xvidvfw with the mkv version.
You can also use the extra profiles in my mencoder builds.

I want only to know how can i say to autogk to set the value of "number of threads" to 2.
Thanks

Like I said presumably AutoGK doesn't set threads to any value so it should just read the previous setting from the registry. So, set threads to 2, fire up AutoGK and hopefully that is what you get. Someone with AutoGK installed and a SMP setup would have to varify though.
