Looking for hq semi-pro capture card

I have two semi-connected questions.

First, I'm looking for a very high quality capture card that allows me to capture uncompressed or losslessly compressed video. (No MPEG or DV encoders, please!) In particular, I would like something with very high quality ADCs that accepts composite, s-video minimally and component would be highly desirable as well.

I'm also hoping for something with a very high quality capture software package behind it--something that's feature complete and works, rather than incomplete and buggy.

Lastly, some of my sources have balanced audio output. I have an EMu card with balanced audio input and am fairly comfortable with capturing pure audio input from a balanced source. But, is there a way for me to be able to av sync audio and video if video is being captured by a video capture card and audio is captured by the Emu? OR, are there capture cards out there with balanced audio input support?

I totally realize that I won't be able to get this kind of functionality for $50, but I do want to know what my options are, and low price is always better. I am frustrated with my ATI 550 card and its terrible MMC software. While I've gotten it mostly working, I have source decks with XLR audio output and component video output that I can't really take advantage of w/o upgrading my capture card.

Any ideas?

I'm not sure if this will meet your requirements , but you could check out the ADSTech web site, they have a version that will input and output component video, dv, Svideo and composite. A little pricey at $200.00 US.

I checked previously and unless I missed something, it seems like all the ADS products (even their "pro" line) capture in DV format. I want raw 4:2:2 NTSC SD or better to feed to huffyuv or the like.
