problem with some movies downloaded

Hi, can comebody helpme with a doubt

i downloaded a plenty of movies via torrent and som of the just can't play

i tried to open them with bsplayer. video lan, crystal player, vindows media player, winamp, virtualdubmod and tmpgenc and none of these can do it.

the GSpot V2.52B01 says:

Container:

File Type: Unknown
Mime Type: Unknown


and all of these files are an AVI extension.

i'm woundering if all these file are wrong or i just cannot seem them

there are about a 16 avi movies from diferent TV-Show.
