Real Alternative problem

I downloaded and installed the real alternative codec so I could play .rmvb and .ram files on media player classic. Both file types worked fine until today. Now I can't play any files with the .ram extension. I've tried reinstalling the program and restarting my computer, but neither work. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Real Alternative is an illegal program? I thought it was just a codec to help you play real formats on other players.

It is warez in the sense that Real Alternative is distributing DLLs copyrighted and owned by RealNetworks. Thread closed.
