x264 setting for quicktime-compatibilty

How to set up x264 for smooth playback in quicktime? i've tried high-profile (now i claim qt doesn't support this feature), 2 b-frames, 4 ref-frames a.s.o. at 700kbps -> video res. was 720x296.

but video wasn't smooth in qt, very jittering!!!

what can i do?

This is the 4th thread on god damn quicktime. use megui's quicktime profiles or read the threads dedicated to this discussion. all the settings you need are located there.
