couldn't save D2V FILE?

I'm having problems saving a D2V file i get this error message (Couldn't save D2V FILE. IS IT READ ONLY?)

any idea's why this should happen?

Is this through the CLI or through the menus?

It just means that your specified path for the D2V file cannot be written to. Did you check that the path is correct and the directory writable? It's a simple fopen() on the specified path/file, so if it fails, something is amiss with your path.
