Hi there,

I've been told in the past, that when outputting from Scenarist it's best to do the first two stages (the mux and image) as one step and then burn the DLT or disc as a separate step.

However I've seen a couple of posts on this forum suggesting that it's a better idea to do all three stages in one (if you see what I mean).

I'd be interested to know if anyone actually knows if there is a best-practise method of doing this and why.

Cheers

I think that there isn't a "best method". All 3 steps are required. To do the IMG you need to compile it firstly and to do the DLT you need the image. You can made the 3 steps in one or as single steps. The only "problem" with 1 step at time is that if you modify something you have the risk to made a not up-to-date DLT.
