Looking for suits that will import mpeg and allow me to edit it and then have it ready to be authored on a DVD. I know Pinnacle does make one like that but I don't know which one. Also I saw a site of a pcmag where they had a review of a whole bunch of suits that did that ... who also inculded Ulead VideoStudio 7 SE and Adobe ... They had it where the different suits were being compared to each other, I can't find it ... help also what is every ones personal opion of the software if you find the page that has it.

If time is money, you probably want a commercial program, but the following two free tools are very fast, simple and free:

first one, cut out commercial with just 3 key presses. Next one, just right click on the file from #1, to make the dvd.

The free mpg2cut2 looks good but the SimpleDVD dosn't break the movie into chapters for easy access. Does any one know of a free (or really cheap as in under 20 bucks) program that'll do DVD authoring and allow the move to be borken into chapters.

I really like movie editor pro by magix and I'll probably get that later on when I get some money. Dose any one know of any thing else like that that is cheap cause at first I'll be doing the free stuff and then into the commercial software.
