Well... it still misses the ULTIMATE feature...

jdobbs is it possible that DVD Rebuilder keeps part of the available bitrate on really BAD MOVIES so it can be allocated to really GOOD MOVIES?
:D ::p :scared: :p :D

That is what that little X is in the upper right hand corner.
On bad movies you just press that saving time and disc space.
The man thinks of everything.
I thought you knew that already.

Well, this is interesting. It's been at least four hours and nobody has complained about the size options. OK, I will, I've got some karma to burn :P

Hey, jdobbs, why can't we set actual target rate? Huh? Huh? What about THAT question, big boy?! :p

edit: Whoa! Love the way the edit button works now.

:D ::p :scared: :p :DThat's in the "to do" list right after the VirtualDub filter to retroactively record TV broadcasts.

Oh..oh...pick me..Mr Kotter..Mr Kotter....

I'll take a guess. His targetSector sizes have been tested and provern, will cause the least problems (hence less emails from noobs) and ....cause he can??.. :)

Look back through these threads and ask that again... I'd be flooded with e-mails asking why setting the bitrate to 8000 made the disc too big to fit on a DVD-5....

Yea..but since you in NC..I'll cut you a break. I know your running the Southern Windows edition and it takes a little while for your candle backlit monitor to update. <doh>

But you got to admit...I knew Jerry's motivation eh?..LOL

There was some talk a while back about adding a feature to convert PAL->NTSC for main movie only. JDobbs mentioned it would be in 1.01 but it still hasn't made it. I'd really like to see that feature incorporated.

No sir, but I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night :)

Really, I am moving to Florida and teach in NC a few times a year. One of our manufacturing plants is in Wilson

I'm anxious to hear what your thoughts are after looking at it, as this is a feature that would truly raise this program to the next level. (Not that it needs it!)

Not to mention that this would open up a whole new door for me personally!!;)
