Hi all,
Something obvious may have escaped me, but I can't seem to find a DVD player that allows you to add DirectX DSP filters into the audio chain. I thought perhaps MPC might do it, but apparently not.
I'm also looking for a DirectX filter that will play host to WinAMP DSP plug-ins for use in the same system, so if you happen to know of any that would be helpful too.
The reason I ask is that I've been watching a few old DVDs lately, as well as some new ones, where the audio just really isn't up to the standard it should be, and I have a few good enhancement plug-ins if only I could load them into a media player directly. Note that the goal is to avoid having to rip the disc to do this, and I'm listening on headphones so stereo processing is all that is required.
