I got a movie split into 2 vcd files. How can i burn both files to one DVD and have them play one after the other, so i can watch the whole movie without changin discs?

best way is to join them together, what format are they in, avi or are they actual vcd images, usually a few files but the main one is a DAT file ?
if DAT files, i rename them to avi and use my avi joiner to make the 2 into 1 mpeg movie.

let me explain better... I got two VCD images. I burn/mount 'em and i got a folder MPEGAV with a AVSEQ01.DAT file. The movie is split into two discs. I wanna be able to watch the movie on a standalone dvd player on 1 dvd disc instead of burning 2 vcds. what do i need to do?

this question been asked many time; pretty much you got 3 choses:
1. http://www.videohelp.com/vcddvdr.htm
2. second paragraph
3. press the eject button and insert 2nd disc

as i said, i would rename both dat files to avi, get an avi joiner, buy it and simply join both avi together, then in ur dvd burning software, select the newly made full length mpeg movie u just made.

@ The Rig
please review rule 6 in regards to how "inverted commas" can ruin an otherwise excellent post ;)
@ rawDawg
as Dani82 states, this has been asked many times before. for details on how to search the forum for subjects with only 3 characters (eg vcd) please see this thread:

I find it very surprising that The Rig can simply rename a DAT file, which has nothing at all to do with AVI, to an AVI name and that there is an AVI joiner that will happily accept this and join it. I would never have guessed that you could do that. May I ask what the joiner program is that does this? Just curious.

well, if the DAT file is actually a movie file then its simple, if, obviously the DAT file is not a movie it wont work, but just to show you, if u get an avi or mpg file and rename that to .dat and then open it in media player iot runs, when an avi is converted to a DAT file it is still a movie file, so by renaming it to avi the avi joiner see`s it and then you can join them together and rename as an mpeg file if desired, or leave as an avi. i use boilsoft avi mpeg joiner v4.11, works fine.
