xvid and tmpgenc [Archive]

xvid doesn't show up in tmpgenc anymore in the codec list
and i need to export this video to .avi
The strange thing is the codec shows up in virtual dub
Tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it
any ideas ?

But have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling "TMPGEnc"?

Does XviD show up in GSPOT or Radlight FilterManager? I recently uninstalled XviD 1.1 (taken from XviD website and also K-Lite Codec Pack) and wiped out all the codecs on my PC.

had this problem too
installed xvid 1.1 and it wiped the rest of the codecs ...
then after i fixed it and installed newer xvid it would no longer show up in tmpgenc

no i haven't tried reinstalling it, not sure what if any difference what would make. All the other codecs are there. I'll try gspot etc
