I have an older recording that I am trying to dub to DVD and it has a constant hissing noise in the speakers. Although this is expected for an older recording, is there a clean way to remove the hiss? Also if so, anything needs to be done afterwords to enhance anything that is lost from the removal?
Thanks.

Hi!
Try using an audio editing program, such as Audacity or GoldWave, that allows you to apply a "noise filter" or similar...

I do not see the Hiss Removal option. The noise reduction filter is set to a Y of -100 however do not see that. I have radio buttons for "Use Shape" which is the closest. I have a pulldown for presets however it's blank.

I have a pulldown for presets however it's blank. It's deceptive. Click on the down arrow to the right of the "Presets" box...

I did, list is blank. My install must not be complete or something. I'll install again as it's been on the system for a while.
