Hi ,I have been using AutoGk for a long time now and all of a sudden it has stopped working and I cant find the answer.I load the file into AGK 2.26 it opens up DGIndex gets to 4 seconds and just stops (hours I`ve let it sit for). I have uninstalled and reinstalled but still no use.Did a search but couldn`t find anything.Any help would be appreciated.

For every VOB or for any particular one? If the latter, probably a corrupted VOB or something. Can you give us a sample from where this happens? DGIndex should show the timecode, so use ChopperXP to grab a sample from there. neuron2 might be interested.

Thanks for your reply.Yes for every VOB on every film I am now putting into AGK (now up to 15 films) I haven`t loaded any new progs on my PC so I don`t know why it has stopped working. As I said it only ever gets to 4 seconds now and just hangs. If I try to do a Mpeg4 file already done in AGK it works fine.Perhaps it`s DVDDecrypter? ChopperXP?

Also, what if you feed a VOB into DGIndex outside of AutoGK? Does it still stop after 4 seconds? If so, then the issue is outside of AutoGK. Try updating the DGIndex build to the latest one. Maybe that'd work.

Hi, just fed a few VOB`s into DGIndex and all processed OK. I am going to try DVDFab Platinum to rip the VOB`s and see if this makes any difference?

That didn`t make any difference at all. Just loaded AGK 1.96 and that has the same problem?

It doesn't make any sense. Why would DGIndex work outside of AutoGK but not in conjunction with it? Did you upgrade DGIndex like I said? If it still doesn't work, I am afraid I don't know what's happening. Someone else may have better ideas. :(

No I haven`t upgraded yet, just tried something different, instead of using DVDDecrypter I opened the files directly from a DVD and AGK worked fine.I`m wondering if my hard drive is going down?

Don't forget that (I believe) AGK relies upon a certain D2V file format and that has changed in the most recent version of DGMPGDec. Also, don't forget that the DGIndex.exe and DGDecode.dll files must be from a matched pair.

Updating to 1.46 didn`t work ,but I did a CHKdisk and it repaired bad sectors in the Decrypted VOB`s and now it`s working OK and this is happening everytime i decrypt so it`s something to do with the DVDDecrypter/DVDFab Platinum and not AGK.But why?
