Hello!

I am using my mobile as portable music player.
It accepts only LC-AAC and this must be raw aac streams.
The problem is the Tagging of this files.

I tested a few CLI tools , but the tags were never shown on my nokia mobile.

I used the Nokia Converter to make a aac-file with supported Tags and uploaded it : http://forum.gleitz.info/attachment.php?attachmentid=77195

The values must be
Artist: TestInterpret
Title : TestTitel

Please tell me how to make this Tags !
Is it raw aac ?

Regards

.aac is not meant to have tags (meaning there is no standard way to tag them). so your nokia phone will propably not support hacked tags you might manage to attach to your .aac

But the File created by the Nokia Converter has Tags.

So i am asking , if it's possible to add this "Nokia Style"-Tags to a File encoded with FAAC for example ?

Which cli taggers did you try?

Foobar2k has several tagging options and has a gui. You might try that route.

The best cli tagger is probably TAG available on Rarewares (http://www.rarewares.org/others.html). It supports several formats.

I would just try them all.
