Hi everybody,
Recently I was suggested to use Nuendo 3 instead of Cool Edit pro to edit my audio files.

I use this kind of software to mainly "Resample" from 48000 to 44100 and to "Normalize" tracks from a Dvd...

Is there anyone who could suggest me something??? is the difference between the two so huge???

Thanks
Joe

Based on what? When someone suggests u to change your apps for other, they should tell u exactly why. Or else is just a "u should do it bacause i do it" thing.
CoolEdit is one of the best audio apps outthere, and nuendo is mainly use for creating environmental audio for surround. Unless u are deciding to do this, u don`t need to leave CoolEdit.

I was suggested by the owner of a recording studio who told me Cool Edit is a kind of "toy" compared to Nuendo....

The only things I'm interested in are the "resample" and "normalization", so I'd leave C.E. for Nuendo only if these functions were better performed by the latter: only if the alghoritmics were better.....
