hey all, I have 2 xvid files, they seem nearly identical but one will play and the other wont, I have a feeling it is a issue with the header info, is there any way to figure out what is diffrent with them, they bolth use the same audio codec and video.

I have used afreecodecvt to see the info and that program shows the as exactly the same, however if i use gspot under the comments area the one that works only has 2 comments, junk vdub and junk release. the one that dosnt work has the same 2 junk entries and also a isft vdub entry.

as far as I can tell that is the only diffrence. can any one assist me in figuring this out. or how to totaly remove the isft line to test it that way (I changed it to blank junk but it made it junk movi01wb. after doing that it starts loading but freezes my rsh-100 but it at least got past the error msg ) so I have a feeling that it is related to that extra line.

Thanks

Do a search for MPEG4Modifier, it may give you an idea.
