Pan & Scan? (Widescreen to Fullscreen)

Hi,

I have a .ts (PAL) file which has black borders around it (it needs to be zoomed in) is there any way to get rid of these?

here are the resolution settings i have:


input res:

PAL

input pixel aspect ratio:

PAL anamorphic 16:9

crop: smart crop all

i.e. it's a 4:3 movie but it's broadcast in 16:9 which leaves black borders.

I guess i could use smart crop, but that only crops it if it finds that theres black bars in the first frame. It won't work if say the start is 16:9 and then it goes to black border mode is there anyway to zoom the whole thing?
