Hello,

I have tried 2 versions of the codec, 16012005 and 30122005.

I would like to know what is the difference between the profile DXN HT PAL and the Home Theater Pal or Cinema Plus Pal ?

Which one is the better to encode a movie with a good quality on a 700 Mb CD ?

Thanks

Think that you will find it is Home Theatre

If your ownly aim is 700MB's, then I see no reason for a profile really. Unrestricted would be fine.

From recollection DXN HT was just renamed and Cinema Plus has the HT VBV settings, but some settings unlocked.

Probably not the most user friendly, but:
http://www.xvid.org/cvs/chora/co.php/xvidcore/vfw/src/config.c?login=2&r=1.30
codec.c is probably also worth checking out.
