Turns out - and if this isn't news, i.e., it's been posted about - sorry - can't find it.

With both installed and DVD43 active, you get a bad_pool_error BSOD at the end of an Itunes burn.

This was driving me crazy, and for days I was trying to figure this out untill I stumbled upon a post on dslreports of all places. If you close DVD43, no problem.

Think there's a fix? Why would this happen. There might be problems with anydvd and some others as well, but I haven't tried.

This isn't just a Itunes error. DVD43 caused BSOD with Nero on my computer until I unistalled it several months ago. I don't know if it has been fixed.

Yikes - when you were doing what with Nero? I've been using 7 with no problems, but maybe you have do do a specific thing - like with Itunes?

This was with Nero 6. I'm not 100% on the exact point of the BSOD, but I think it was when it started to burn the disc. I didn't do anything special, just used the default settings and burned complications and various image files. Disabling DVD43 fixed the problem, but it kept loading on startup and "fixed" itself if I removed it from startup, so I just uninstalled it.

Got ya - only "good" thing is you need only disable and itunes works fine.

Yes - wish I remembered at the moment, but in the last couple months, I've had conflicts with a few programs and DVD43 - why so many do you think?
